These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the basis on which BeyondTheNetwork Ltd (“BeyondTheNetwork”, “we”, “us” or “our”) supplies products and services via www.beyondthenetwork.co.uk (the “Site”) to customers (“you” or “your”).
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Notice.

1. Definitions

TermMeaning“Digital Content”Any non‑tangible product supplied in electronic form, e.g. e‑books, templates, software, online courses, licences, downloads.“Services”Any consultancy, coaching, profile‑optimisation or other professional service described on the Site, including the Guidance Session and LinkedIn Optimisation.“Physical Goods”Any tangible items supplied (e.g. branded merchandise, hardware, books).“Products”Digital Content, Physical Goods and Services collectively.“Order”Your request to purchase Products, as submitted via the Site checkout or other authorised channel.

2. Formation of Contract

2.1 Your Order is an offer to buy. A binding contract forms only when we e‑mail an Order confirmation.
2.2 We reserve the right to reject or cancel any Order (e.g. stock unavailability, suspected fraud, pricing error). Any payment taken for a rejected Order will be refunded in full.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 Prices are stated in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
3.2 We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment must clear before dispatch or access to Digital Content/Services is granted.
3.3 Promotions or discount codes are applied at our discretion and may be withdrawn without notice.

4. Delivery & Access
4.1 Digital Content
  • Download links or access credentials are issued to the e‑mail address supplied at checkout immediately after payment (or within 1 hour).

  • You are responsible for a stable internet connection and suitable software to open the files.

  • We strongly advise you to back‑up any downloads; links may expire after 14 days.

4.2 Physical Goods
  • Dispatch times indicated on the product page are estimates only.

  • We deliver worldwide via Royal Mail or courier. Shipping costs and delivery windows are shown at checkout.

  • Risk in Physical Goods passes to you on delivery; title passes on full payment.

4.3 Services
  • Scheduling will be arranged by e‑mail. Section 8 (Cancellations & Rescheduling) applies.

5. Consumer Right to Cancel (Distance Selling)

5.1 Digital Content – By downloading or streaming Digital Content within the statutory 14‑day cooling‑off period, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that your right to cancel is lost once the download/stream starts (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 36).
5.2 Physical Goods – You may cancel and return unused items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding original postage). You must pay return postage and retain proof of posting.
5.3 Services – See Section 8.

6. Returns & Refunds (Physical Goods)

6.1 Returned items must be unused, in original packaging and in resaleable condition.
6.2 Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.
6.3 We do not accept returns of:
a) custom‑made or personalised items;
b) sealed goods unsealed after delivery (e.g. software media);
c) health & safety critical items once opened (e.g. ear defenders).

7. Defects & Warranty

7.1 We warrant that Physical Goods will conform to description and be free from material defects for 12 months from delivery. This does not cover normal wear, misuse or unauthorised repair.
7.2 Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.

8. Services – Scheduling, Rescheduling & Cancellations

Once a bespoke Service (e.g. LinkedIn Optimisation) has begun, you waive the 14‑day right to cancel for work already completed. Partial refunds are discretionary and reflect time spent.

9. Licence & Intellectual Property

9.1 All intellectual property in Digital Content or deliverables remains ours (or our licensors’) until full payment is received.
9.2 Upon payment, we grant you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable licence for personal, non‑commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, resell, share or reverse‑engineer without written permission.

10. Acceptable Use

You must not use our Products or Site for any unlawful purpose, to infringe others’ rights, or in any manner that could damage our reputation.

11. Limitation of Liability

11.1 Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11.2 Subject to 11.1, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any Order shall not exceed the price paid.
11.3 We shall not be liable for: loss of profit, loss of data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss.
11.4 Advice and training are provided in good faith on an “as‑is” basis. We do not guarantee that using our Products will secure employment, increase salary, prevent cyber attacks, etc.

12. Data Protection & Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and our Privacy Notice. By ordering, you consent to such processing. We use industry‑standard security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security of electronic communications.

13. Testimonials & Marketing

With your explicit consent, we may use anonymised excerpts of feedback or success stories in our marketing.

14. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. strikes, pandemics, natural disasters, platform outages).

15. Amendments to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. The version displayed on the Site at the time of your Order applies. Changes will not affect previously confirmed Orders.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
